Tom'S Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (48 oz.) jar kosher dill pickles
    2 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    Remove all the pickles from the jar and pour off the liquid. Slice the pickles and return to jar.
    When the jar is half full, cover with 1 cup of the sugar, then place the rest of the pickles in the jar and cover with the other cup of sugar.
    Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar, then recap the jar.
    Invert the jar and leave for a day.
    Turn it over for a day and then back again. Keep repeating for 4 or 5 days, then enjoy them.
