Hassel Back Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium oblong potatoes
5 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Peel potatoes or leave skins on and scrub with brush.
With sharp knife, slice each potato crosswise every 1/4 to 1/2-inch, but not quite all the way through.
Place potatoes in a buttered pie plate.
Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
Bake for 30 minutes at 425\u00b0.
Sprinkle bread crumbs over potatoes and drizzle with remaining butter.
Bake 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Baste with butter from pie plate. Bake 20 minutes or until tender.
