Macaroni-Shrimp Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. uncooked elbow or spiral macaroni (about 6 oz.)
    1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1/4 c. sliced green onions (with tops)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped, fresh celery
    5 oz. chopped, steamed shrimp*
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
Preparation
    * May substitute tiny shrimp, rinsed and drained from can.
