24 Hour Party Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
4 Tbsp. Heinz white vinegar
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. white (sweet) cherries
2 c. cubed pineapple
2 oranges, cut in pieces
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation

Put eggs in double boiler.
Add vinegar and sugar.
Cook, beating constantly, until thick and smooth.
Remove from stove; add butter and cool.
When cold, fold in whipped cream and drained fruit mixture.
Fruit should be well drained.
Put in refrigerator and let stand (covered with wax paper) for 24 hours.
