Spinach Dip(In Honor Of "Dan Patch") - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sour cream (I prefer Borden)
1 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
1 pkg. chopped frozen spinach, thawed and drained *
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 pkg. Knorr dry vegetable soup mix

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except spinach.
Squeeze spinach and stir in a little at a time.
Best when made the night before.
