Scottish Oat Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. softened margarine
1/3 c. milk
1 egg
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. rolled oats (uncooked; quick)
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Add margarine, milk and eggs to combined dry ingredients; mix until just moist.
Add raisins.
Shape dough to form ball; pat out on floured surface to form 8-inch circle.
Cut into 12 wedges. Bake on greased cookie sheet in preheated 425\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes, or until light golden brown.
