Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 can fruit
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt 1 stick butter in square baking pan.
    Pour batter over butter.
    Pour fruit on top of batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
