Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pretzels
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
8 oz. cream cheese
2 c. Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
1 c. crushed pineapple
1 c. pineapple juice
1 large box strawberry jello
2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries
Preparation

Mix together pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar and butter; press smoothly in a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Cool.
Cream together cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar, then spread over crust. Heat the juice and 1 cup water to boiling.
Dissolve the jello in the juice mixture, then add the frozen strawberries.
When thickened, add the crushed pineapple.
Pour over the cream layer and chill.
Serves 12.
