Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion, chopped
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 medium head red cabbage, shredded (about 4 to 5 c.)
    3 tart apples, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. mild vinegar
    1/4 c. raisins
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter and add onion and brown sugar.
    Cook until a golden yellow.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook on high heat until steaming, then reduce to low heat.
    Cook 25 to 30 minutes.
