Poached Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh or frozen fish fillets, thawed
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    3 whole peppercorns
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 bay leaf, crushed
    1/2 to 1 tsp. dry dill
Preparation
    Note:
    Salt water fish is best, such as orange roughy or halibut.
