Almond Tea Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter flavored Crisco
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2/3 c. chopped slivered almonds
    1/4 tsp. salt
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream Crisco, milk and almond extract in large bowl until well blended.
    Beat in sugar.
    Combine flour, almonds and salt.
    Mix into mixture.
    Shape dough into balls with 1 level tablespoon. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    (Cookies will not brown.)
    Remove and roll in confectioners sugar when cool.
