Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch baked pie crust
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. water
    1 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Wash and stem strawberries; save 5 or 6 for garnish.
    Place strawberries in bottom of crust.
    Mix sugar, Jell-O and cornstarch well.
    Add to boiling water.
    Cook until bubbles or begins to thicken.
    Pour over berries.
    Cool for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Top with Cool Whip and remaining berries.
