Linguini With Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bay scallops
    1/4 c. olive oil
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1/2 lb. cooked linguini
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    1 to 2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
Preparation
    Rinse and drain scallops.
    Pat dry.
    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
    Cook garlic for 1 minute.
    Add mushrooms and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add scallops and sherry.
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until scallops are opaque.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Put scallop mixture over linguini.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
