Beet Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 lb. beets, raw, peeled and sliced
    6 lb. sugar
    3 oranges, sliced with peel
    1 lb. raisins, tied in a bag
    1 pkg. yeast
Preparation
    Boil beets 1/2 hour in 3 quarts of water, strain and add enough water to make 1 1/2 gallons.
    Then add remaining ingredients.
    Let stand 9 to 12 days, strain.
    Let stand until clear.
    Put in bottles and seal.
    It's good!
