Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium onions
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 to 1 c. grated cheese
    12 saltines
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions
    in butter; mix with soup.
    Line bottom of casserole
    with
    saltines.
    Pour
    soup
    and onion mixture over saltines.
    Mix eggs and
    milk
    with
    salt
    and pepper and pour over soup and onion
    mixture.
    Sprinkle cheese over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until cheese bubbles.
