Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 1/2 lb. green tomatoes
    8 large onions
    10 green peppers
    3 Tbsp. salt
    6 red peppers
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    3 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Chop tomatoes, onions and peppers; cover with salt.
    Let stand overnight.
    Drain.
    Add red peppers, vinegar, spices and sugar. Cook 40 minutes.
    Put into jars and seal tops.
