Cheese Straws - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1/2 tsp. red pepper
pinch of salt
Preparation

Soften butter and cheese together.
Sift flour, salt and red pepper together.
Combine mixture and work until very smooth. Divide in half and roll on floured surface.
Roll out very thin and cut in long strips, approximately 1/2 x 2 1/2-inches.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
Yields 3 to 4 dozen.
