Aunt Meryle'S Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can Angel Flake coconut
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except water, sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Bake for 1 hour in 350\u00b0
    oven in a greased tube pan. While cake is cooling in pan, make glaze of sugar, water and vanilla.
    Bring to a boil.
    Punch holes in cake with toothpick and pour glaze slowly over cake while still hot.
