Apple Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. pure vegetable oil
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. shredded carrots
    1 c. coarsely chopped apple
    1 c. golden raisins
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl.
    Blend thoroughly. Sift together dry ingredients.
    Add to first mixture and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into 2 greased and wax papered 9-inch cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes, until center of cake is firm to touch.
    Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans and finish cooling on cake racks. Frost with Pecan Cream Cheese Frosting.
