Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    8 oz. sour cream
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Defrost potatoes and combine in large bowl with 1/2 cup melted butter.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add chopped onions, soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Pour into 3-quart casserole.
    Cover with 1/4 cup melted butter mixed with corn flakes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Can be fixed ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
    Delicious.
