Strawberry Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) box strawberry jello
4 c. water
angel food cake
5 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 qt. sliced strawberries
Preparation

Take 1/2 to 3/4 cup cold water and mix with cornstarch until it is smooth.
Have about 1 1/2 cups of water on low heat on stove.
Pour in cornstarch and stir until clear and thick.
Remove from heat.
Add jello and mix.
Pour the remaining water in and mix well.
Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan and refrigerate until it begins to thicken.
Break angel food cake into bite size pieces and add to jello.
You may not need all of the cake.
Stir in strawberries and let congeal.
Top with Dream Whip.
Serves 8 people.
