Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
    Mix well.
    Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Stir into mixture.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake until light brown at 375\u00b0
    for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
    These cookies puff up, then flatten out.
