Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced pared tart apples
2/3 to 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oats
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. butter
Preparation

Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease 8 X 8 X 2 square pan. Place apple slices in pan.
Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
Serve warm.
Good with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
Makes 6 servings.
