Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    2 c. cake flour (do not sift)
    5 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Put cake flour and powdered sugar in bowl.
    Add butter; mix with
    electric
    beater
    until butter is cut up fine.
    Add vanilla and
    nuts.
    Mix
    with
    large
    spoon
    until all sticks together. Then make little rolls or balls and place on cookie sheet.
    Cook for 1 hour, then turn cookies over for 5 minutes. Bake in 275\u00b0 oven until light brown.
    Shake in bag of powdered sugar lightly.
