Raisin Energy Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. raisins
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. corn starch
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 c. rolled oats
2 sticks margarine/butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
-
Simmer the first 5 ingredients in a sauce pan till thick (they won't get really thick).
Take off heat, add vanilla and cool.
