Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 202) can peas
    1 (No. 202) can French-style green beans
    1 (No. 202) can Chinese vegetables
    1 small size can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 small size can carrots, sliced
    8 stalks celery, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 small onion, diced or dried onion
    1 c. sugar or 1/2 c. sugar and sweetener
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. water
    dash of garlic salt
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients the day before serving in a large bowl and marinate.
    Serve chilled.
