Oven Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb. boneless beef chuck steak, (3/4-inch thick)
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, cut up
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped carrot
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. shredded sharp process American cheese
Preparation

Cut meat into 4 portions. Combine flour and salt. Pound into meat.
Set aside remaining flour. Brown meat in a small amount of hot oil (2 tablespoons).
Place meat in a 10 x 6 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish.
