Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. chopped apples, peeled
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine sugar, oil, lemon, vanilla, eggs and salt.
    Beat well.
    Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pecans and apples.
    Mix lightly.
    Pour into a greased and floured 12-cup fluted tube pan.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
    Combine powdered sugar and milk, adding more milk until glaze is of proper consistency. Drizzle over cooled cake; sprinkle with nuts.
    Store in a covered container.
    Makes 12 servings.
