Fresh Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise (may use low-calorie)
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 large head broccoli
    1 medium sweet onion
    8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. bacon, browned, drained and crumbled
Preparation
    Wash large head fresh broccoli and dry thoroughly.
    Cut into very small pieces.
    Peel stalks of broccoli and cut into small pieces also.
    Slice 1 sweet onion and add 8 ounces grated Cheddar cheese.
    Mix with dressing.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Crumble bacon on top just before serving.
