Cranberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw chopped cranberries
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. Meadow Gold golden flake buttermilk
    1/4 c. Meadow Gold butter, melted
Preparation
    Combine cranberries and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Sift flour, salt, soda and remaining sugar.
    Mix egg, buttermilk and butter; add to dry ingredients, mixing just enough to moisten.
    Add cranberries, mixing slightly.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Makes 12 muffins.
