Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onion in boiling water until tender.
    Add butter, milk, salt and pepper.
    Heat and serve at once.
    Crisp bits of bacon or ham give a good flavor to soup.
