Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms or fresh mushrooms
    2 ribs celery, sliced
    1 can (14.5 oz.) stewed tomatoes
    2 cans (10.75 oz.) tomato soup
    1 can (10.75 oz.) water
    1 to 2 cans (15.5 oz.) red kidney beans
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown ground beef.
    Saut onion, green pepper, mushrooms, celery and stew tomatoes until vegetables are tender.
    Combine ground beef and vegetables in a large pan.
    Stir in chili powder. Add tomato soup and water and bring to a boil.
    Add kidney beans and vinegar.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Simmer for several hours.
