Shrimp Hurry Curry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 to 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 can shrimp soup (frozen kind preferred)
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. cooked shrimp
    1 c. raw rice
    paprika
Preparation
    In
    top part of double boiler, simmer onion
    and
    curry powder in butter until tender.
    Do not brown.
    Add frozen soup and
    stir until smooth.
    Add sour cream and shrimp
    and
    heat until
    hot all
    through.
    Serve over hot rice and
    top
    with paprika.

    likes
    shrimp
    almost any
    way
    it's cooked.
    This is one of my quickies they have
    enjoyed through the years.
    I
    never serve this one with the traditional curry \"boys,\"
    just
    plain. But
    chutney,
    raisins, grated coconut, chopped green onions, etc., may be used.
