Northwoods Red Cabbage Facsimile - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head red cabbage, thinly sliced
    1 large white onion, thinly sliced
    3/4 c. sugar, or to taste
    1 c. white wine vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. Dijon mustard
Preparation
    Combine red cabbage and onion in large bowl.
    Stir in sugar and set aside to meld flavors.
