Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 cans instant vanilla pudding
    1 (8 oz.) tub Cool Whip
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions on box.
    Arrange in this order in a punch bowl:
    crumble half of cake, 1 can pie filling, 1/2 can pineapple, 1 can pudding and 1 tub Cool Whip.
    Repeat.
    Top with whipped cream Cool Whip droplets, maraschino cherries and chopped walnuts, if desired.
    Chill before serving.
    Serves 30 to 35 people.
