Pickled Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1 stick cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    4 whole cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 cans whole Green Lake beans
Preparation
    Boil together all ingredients, except beans.
    Wash beans under cold running water.
    Drain.
    Pour cooled mixture over beans. Refrigerate 12 hours or more.
    Serves 8 to 10.
