Cream Cheese Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. real butter (softened)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sprinkle 1/2
    cup
    pecans in a greased and floured tube pan. Set
    aside.
    Cream
    butter
    and cream cheese.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating
    well
    after each addition.
    Add flour and salt, stirring until
    combined.
    Beat until light.
    Stir in vanilla and remaining 1 cup pecans.
    Pour batter into pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for
    1
    1/2 hours
    or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Remove and cool completely on wire rack.
    Serves 12 to 15.
