Quick Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 small Cool Whip
1 (9-inch) pie shell, cooked
Preparation

Wash and stem strawberries.
Crush 1/2 of them and combine with 1 cup sugar in which 3 tablespoons cornstarch has been mixed.
Stir constantly over low heat until thickened (about 5 minutes).
Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and allow to cool.
Put the other half of the strawberries into a cooked 9-inch pie shell and top with the strawberry mixture.
Chill and serve with Cool Whip.
