Lemon Icebox Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sweetened condensed milk
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 egg whites
1/2 c. lemon juice
2 c. crumbled vanilla wafers
2 Tbsp. melted oleo
rind of 1 lemon, grated
Preparation

Place condensed milk into bowl and add lemon juice and grated rind.
Stir until thick and add beaten egg yolks.
Mix oleo with wafer crumbs and press firmly into pie plate.
Pour filling into pan over crumbs and top with meringue which has been beaten with the egg whites plus 2 tablespoons sugar.
Bake in oven until egg whites are light brown.
Chill in refrigerator.
