Ingredients

1 1/2 c. shelled fresh green peas or 10 oz. frozen green peas
1 c. shredded lettuce
3 scallions, sliced or green onions, sliced
2 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
dash of pepper
Preparation

Heat all ingredients to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer until peas are tender, about 8 minutes.
