Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. lard (shortening)
    2 2/3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix well by hand in large bowl.
    Roll into balls the size of a small walnut.
    Place on the cookie sheet about 2 1/2 inches apart. Do not flatten!
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
