Creamed Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    large bag (family size) broccoli
    large onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 stick Parkay margarine
    12 oz. milk
    3 Tbsp. flour (self-rising)
    1 to 2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Cover broccoli and onion with water; cook together in large pot (Dutch oven) until tender.
    Add salt.
    Add margarine.
    Blend milk and flour.
    Blend slowly into cooked vegetable pot, stirring constantly.
    Add cheese.
