Microwave Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 9 pie shell, baked
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    Peanut Butter
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in 1 1/2 qt. dish.
    Add milk gradually, mixing well. Cook, uncovered, in microwave 7-8 minutes on high, or until thick, stir occasionally.
    Beat a small amount of mixture into egg yolk.
    Return mixture to dish.
    Cook 2-3 minutes more, or until thick.
    Add vanilla and butter and stir well.
    Cool filling to room temperature.
    Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar (about 3/4 c. total) until crumbly.
    Layer peanut butter mix, pudding mix, repeat.
    Top with meringue or whipped topping.
