Cabbage And Ground Turkey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, chopped
    1 lb. ground turkey, browned with fat and drained well
    1 chopped onion
    1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. blackened seasoning
Preparation
    In a heavy 3-quart pot brown the ground turkey, drain fat and return to pot.
    Add onion, cabbage and seasoning.
    Cover and begin cooking at high heat, then reduce to medium heat, stirring until completely done to keep cabbage from scorching.
    Allow to cook in its own juice.
    You may add water if needed to keep from sticking. Add only 1/2 cup at a time.
    This is much better when cooked in its own juice.
