Danish Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. red cabbage
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 apple, cubed
1/2 c. red currant jelly
Preparation

Slice cabbage in fine strips.
Sprinkle with vinegar.
Melt butter in large saucepan.
Add sugar, salt and cabbage and cook 15 minutes.
Stir and add apple and jelly.
Simmer 2 hours, covered; stirring a few times is a must.
