Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter
    1 c. jam
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 eggs (beaten egg whites)
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add jam to egg yolks.
    Mix together. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour milk.
    Fold in beaten egg whites and vanilla.
    Bake in 3 layer greased and floured cake pans in 350\u00b0 oven. Use boiled frosting for filling and on top of cake.
