Bran Muffin Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
1 c. Bran Flakes
5/8 c. Crisco
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 pt. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. soda
2 c. All-Bran
Preparation

Pour boiling water over Bran Flakes and let soak.
In a separate bowl, cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
Add buttermilk and \"water-bran\" mixture.
Add sifted dry ingredients and beat well.
\"Fold in\" All-Bran.
Put in tightly covered container and store in fridge.
Keeps as long as 6 weeks.
