Ingredients

salt and pepper
rosemary
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. parsnips
turnips
carrots
onion
1 can chicken broth
spiced apple
turkey
Preparation

Clean and pat dry entire inside and outside of bird; season outside and cavity with salt, pepper and rosemary.
Place in a large roasting pan, surrounded with chopped celery, parsnips, turnips, carrots and onion.
Add chicken stock to pan; cover and roast at 325\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
Before carving, prepare gravy from pan juices.
Serve with Spiced Apples.
