Christmas Rocks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1/2 lb. candied cherries
2 lb. dates, chopped
3 c. flour
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. nuts
3 eggs
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. shortening
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. brandy flavoring
1/2 tsp. soda
1/3 c. hot water
Preparation

Cut fruit; add nuts and 1/2 cup flour (not included above) in mixing bowl.
Set aside.
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs, vanilla, brandy flavoring and soda mixed in hot water or whiskey.
Add flour and salt; mix well.
Then add fruit and mix together.
