Minute Steak And Creole Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. cubed steak (4 to 6 steaks)
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 can whole, peeled tomatoes
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Dredge steak in flour, salt and pepper mixture.
    Brown coated steak in bacon grease (shortening may be used).
    Remove browned steak to plate.
    In pan drippings, saute onions until brown.
    Add tomatoes and water.
    Chop tomatoes as they begin to heat.
    Add steak back to gravy and simmer until steak is tender.
    Serve with hot biscuits! Delicious!
